STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION

Install Free CMS on your hosting

The ZIP includes 34,009 games and their database. Game files and thumbnails load from GameMonetize; you do not need to download them again.

  1. Prepare compatible hosting

    Use PHP 8.0+ with MySQLi, cURL, mbstring and ZipArchive, a MySQL/MariaDB database and HTTPS. Apache/LiteSpeed supports the included .htaccess. On Nginx, ask your provider to configure equivalent rewrite rules. Static-only hosting will not work.

    Start with an empty website folder. Back up any existing website before replacing it.

  2. Create an empty database

    In cPanel, Plesk, hPanel or your provider's panel, create a new MySQL database and a database user. Give that user access to this database. Keep the database host, name, username and password ready, including any hosting prefixes.

  3. Upload the installation files

    Extract the outer downloaded ZIP. Upload index.php, install.php, database.sql and free-cms.zip together into the empty public_html, www or htdocs folder for your domain. Keep the inner free-cms.zip compressed.

    The included START-HERE-Installation.pdf, database.mp4 and how to install cms.mp4 are optional instructions, not required website files.

  4. Open and complete the installer

    Visit https://your-domain.com/install.php. Enter your database details, website name, full HTTPS website address and your own administrator email. Use an empty database; do not install over an existing CMS database.

    For the initial account, enter username gamemonetize and password gamemonetize, then confirm it. You can choose a unique password instead. The database login is separate from this CMS administrator account.

  5. Run installation and sign in

    Click Test connection and install once and wait for the success screen. The installer imports the database in small statements and creates your configuration. Open /login, sign in, then visit /admin. Do not import the game catalog a second time.

    CrazyGames Classic is selected by default. Choose another Free theme in Admin Settings if desired.

  6. Secure and check your website

    Change the public default password immediately. Keep an offline copy, then remove install.php, database.sql and free-cms.zip from the public folder, along with any uploaded tutorial files. Keep the installed CMS index.php and installation lock.

    Check Home, a game, categories, search, login and Admin on desktop and mobile. Keep backups of both website files and database.

Need help?

Database errors: check credentials and user permissions. A 404 on game pages usually needs rewrite configuration. For a white page or HTTP 500, inspect your hosting PHP error log. For timeouts or missing extensions, contact your host; do not set all permissions to 777 or repeatedly reinstall into a partially imported database.

PRO is optional and requires your own license. Google Login needs your own setup. Never share private hosting credentials or license keys.
